"Absolute worse experience I've had trying to obtain insurance. I was given a home and auto quote which I wanted to proceed with and was given the run around and ghosted for 4 days leading into the weekend. I was told that my agent would contact me within 20 minutes to an hour of my calls and never received a call or urgency to close the deal. Absolutely ghosted and I am seriously disgusted with the level of professionalism from the staff. I absolutely refuse to do business with a company like this and absolutely do not recommend. Upon being ghosted for the final time I immediately called another SF agency and was not just able to secure a home and auto policy the same day but also got better rates. Beware if you don't like having your time wasted."
"Subject: Clarification Regarding Your Insurance Application Dear Darcy, It was a pleasure speaking with you recently. I want to sincerely apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding that may have occurred during this process. I hope our conversation helped to clarify some of the concerns. To address your points, please know that we did not intentionally delay communication for four days. The primary challenge was a freeze on your credit file, which prevented us from obtaining your loss history report. This report is provided by a third-party company, LexisNexis Insurance Solutions. As we communicated, your homeowner’s insurance application was flagged as ineligible due to a fraudulent activity alert, which was blocking the report. We advised that this fraud alert needed to be removed and that you contact LexisNexis once it was lifted so we could proceed with the report. This process took approximately 2-3 days, which is outside of our agency’s control. Once we were notified the freeze had been lifted, we requested an updated loss history report. Unfortunately, the report still reflected significant fraudulent activity, resulting in continued ineligibility for coverage. My team intended to update you by Friday; however, we only received the report late that evening. We followed up with an email early Monday morning. I acknowledge we should have reached out sooner and apologize for the delay in communication. I’m glad to hear you were able to secure insurance through another agency, though I understand this was possible because the policy was placed in your husband’s name. Had it been in your name, the same issue would have persisted. Thank you for your understanding and your apology. I had hoped our discussion might resolve the concerns you expressed publicly, but since it did not, I wanted to provide this additional context.
